On 15 July 2025, Prof. Dr. Md. Shahid Uz Zaman, the senior-most faculty member of the department, took charge as the new Head of the CSE Department at RUET. That morning, all the faculty members gathered in the Head’s office to congratulate Prof. Zaman and to extend their warm wishes to Prof. Dr. Md. Ali Hossain, who served as the previous Head. The gathering was graced by senior faculty members, including Prof. Dr. Boshir Ahmed and Prof. Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam Mondal, making the occasion both joyful and memorable.
